These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of electrical services by Amppro Electrical Services Ltd (Company No. 15591770), trading as Amppro Electrical. By instructing us to carry out work, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Please read these terms carefully before accepting a quotation or instructing us to proceed with any work.

1. Definitions

  • "We", "us", "our" refers to Amppro Electrical Services Ltd, trading as Amppro Electrical.
  • "You", "your", "the customer" refers to the person or entity engaging our services.
  • "Services" refers to any electrical, solar, battery storage, EV charger installation, or related work we provide.
  • "Work" refers to any tasks, installations, inspections, or repairs carried out by us.

2. Services

We provide electrical services including, but not limited to, solar panel installation, battery storage systems, EV charger installation, electrical inspection and testing (EICRs), consumer unit upgrades, full and partial rewires, and general electrical work.

All work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), relevant Building Regulations, and any applicable industry standards. Where required, we will notify the relevant local authority building control body and obtain the necessary approvals.

We will perform all services with reasonable care and skill, as required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

3. Quotes & Pricing

All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation. A quotation is valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.

Quotations are based on the information provided by you and on our assessment at the time of survey. If additional work is required due to unforeseen circumstances (such as hidden wiring defects, asbestos, or structural issues), we will inform you before proceeding and provide a revised quotation.

Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Solar panel installations on residential properties qualify for 0% VAT under the current government scheme, subject to eligibility. We will confirm the applicable VAT rate on your quotation.

Any verbal estimates are approximate only and should not be relied upon. Only written quotations issued by us are binding.

4. Acceptance & Scheduling

A contract is formed when you accept our quotation in writing (including by email) or verbally instruct us to proceed. We will then schedule the work at a mutually agreed date and time.

We aim to start and complete all work within the agreed timescales. However, we shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including adverse weather conditions, supply chain disruptions, or access restrictions.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are set out on your quotation. Unless otherwise agreed:

  • For work under £1,000: payment is due in full upon completion.
  • For work over £1,000: a deposit may be required prior to ordering materials. The balance is due upon completion of the work.
  • For larger projects: stage payments may be agreed in writing.

We accept payment by bank transfer and other methods as confirmed at the time of quotation. Late payments may be subject to interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Cancellation

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a contract within 14 days of agreeing to it, provided the work has not yet been completed.

If you request that work begins within the 14-day cancellation period and you later cancel, you will be liable for the cost of any work already carried out and any materials already ordered or used.

If you wish to cancel after the 14-day period, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, but you may be liable for costs already incurred.

7. Warranties & Guarantees

We provide a workmanship guarantee on all labour for a minimum of 12 months from the date of completion, unless a longer period is stated on your documentation.

Product and equipment warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers and are separate from our workmanship guarantee. We will supply you with all relevant warranty documentation and assist with any warranty claims where possible.

Our warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, accidental damage, or failure to follow our maintenance recommendations. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

8. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
  • Ensure any information provided to us is accurate and complete
  • Obtain any necessary permissions (such as planning permission or landlord consent) before work commences
  • Notify us of any known hazards, including asbestos, at the property
  • Keep the work area clear and safe for our engineers

9. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising from our services shall not exceed the total price paid for the specific work giving rise to the claim.

We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings, except where such loss was reasonably foreseeable by both parties at the time the contract was formed.

We are fully insured with public liability insurance. Details of our insurance coverage are available upon request.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
